Native Camera
Native Camera does not collect, store, upload, or transmit any of your personal data. Everything stays on your device.
What the app accesses
To access your device's camera sensors directly, enabling preview, photo capture, and video recording without routing through the built-in camera app.
To capture audio when recording video.
To save your photos and videos to your device's gallery (DCIM/NativeCamera), so they're accessible from other apps. Nothing is written anywhere else.
All captured media is processed and stored locally on your device. None of it is sent to our servers or any third party by the app.
Cloud backup and syncing
If you have automatic backup turned on, for example Google Photos syncing your camera roll, your phone's OS or that app may upload your media according to your own settings. That happens outside Native Camera and is controlled entirely by you.
Purchases
Native Camera uses Google Play Billing to process any in-app purchases. All payment transactions are handled by Google Play Services. We do not collect, see, or store your payment details at any point.
What we don't do
- We do not collect analytics or usage data.
- We do not use advertising or tracking SDKs.
- We do not create accounts or store any user information.
- We do not share anything with third parties.
Children
Native Camera does not knowingly collect data from anyone. Because no personal information is collected at all, the app is safe for users of all ages and complies with COPPA.
Changes to this policy
If anything about how the app works changes, this page will be updated and the effective date at the top will reflect that.
